Before you book
A reply on TripHook is a message from a provider plus one link to their own booking page. The booking happens there, between you and them. Five things to check first.
Check before you follow the link
- Look at the provider's own website. Does the name, address and phone match what they told you?
- Read recent reviews on a site you trust. A place with no reviews anywhere deserves a phone call first.
- Book only through the link shown in the reply. If the provider sends a different link later, check the domain again.
- Pay only on that site, or on arrival if the provider says so. Never send money to a bank account given in a chat.
- Keep the confirmation you receive from the provider. It is your booking record. TripHook holds none.
What TripHook is, and is not
TripHook connects you with providers and shows you their reply. It is not part of the booking, takes no payment and holds no money.
Because of that, TripHook cannot refund you or mediate a dispute about a booking. If a provider behaves badly, tell us and we will review their listing.
